JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES CONVENTION 2009
The Club are pleased to advise the the annual Scottish convention of Jehovah's Witnesses will once again be held at McDiarmid Park in 2009.
The dates are Friday 17th, Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th July 2009.
FANFEST - SUNDAY 26TH JULY 2009
The Club will also be hosting a Fanfest, celebrating 125 years of St Johnstone FC and also 20 years of playing at McDiarmid Park.
This family event will take place on the all-weather pitch adjacent to the stadium on Sunday 26th July between 4pm and 8pm and among the attractions are the appearance of fans’ favourites from the past 20 years, an ‘Abba The Concert’ tribute band, the Radio Tay Roadshow, funfair, food and drink outlets and also the chance to purchase replica kit for the new season from Surridge Sports.
This is sure to be a great afternoon and all profits from the event will go Radio Tay’s Cash for Kids charity.
Tickets for the event will be priced at £10.00 for adults and £5.00 for under 16s and we’re delighted to announce that anyone buying a Season Ticket for next season will receive a ticket for the event with the compliments of the club.
Keep an eye on the football club website for details of when tickets for the Funfest will go on sale and also for details of how YOU can vote for the players from the past 20 years who will be invited to the event.

125th ANNIVERSARY DINNER - SUNDAY 25th OCTOBER 2009
On Sunday 25th October 2009, a formal dinner to commemorate 125 years of St Johnstone Football Club will take place at Perth Concert Hall. Entertainment is to be provided by popular after-dinner speakers John McKelvie (retired police officer & football referee), Willie Young (Former grade 1 referee), George Peat (president of the SFA), David Longmuir (Chief executive of SFL), and well-known Saints fan Stuart Cosgrove (Scottish journalist & broadcaster)
Members of the 1969 and 1999 League Cup Final squads will also be in attendance at this formal dress code event, bookings for which are now being taken at a cost of £60.00 per head.
